VETERAN'S MEMORIAL

A committee, headed by Family, Friends and Neighbors, has been working for the past year on plans for a Veteran's Memorial, to be located at Grattan Center Cemetery .

The stages are complete and the fundraising has begun. Engraved bricks to honor an individual, family, organization or company are being sold. The cost is $40.00 for 2 lines of 14 characters each or $50.00 for 3 lines. Order forms are available below, at the Township Hall or by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to: Dianna Force, Veteran's Memorial, 11768 Old Belding Road N.E. , Belding , MI 48809 . This project will be fully funded through private donations, both financial or services, and fundraiser's. Stage I will involve site excavation, retaining wall construction, cement pad for monument, electrical supply and setting the flag sleeves. These bricks will be included in the walkway of the Memorial. Become a part of the Memorial by buying an engraved brick to honor an individual, family, organization or company. The cost of the bricks is $40.00 for 1 or 2 lines and $50.00 for 3 lines. Each line is limited to 14 characters or spaces. Person honored does NOT have to be from the Grattan Area.
