The building inspector is an employee of the township and is available for questions by township residents on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. Calling for an appointment will be the most effective means of speaking to the inspector. A new "fee schedule" has been implemented and a new "Certificate of Occupancy Deposit" will be required from all applicants that request a building permit for a structure that will have human habitation and will require a certificate of occupancy before moving in.
