SEWER & POWER OUTAGE EMERGENCY
Call 616-776-9656

If you experience a power failure, the sewer pump stations are affected just as your home is.
So when a power failure of any kind occurs, call the sewer emergency line at 616-776-9656 and report your location .

Also, Grattan's sewer customers should practice restraint when it comes to using portable generators during power outages. Pump stations do not pump during these outages and we run the risk of sanitary sewer overflows into the lakes if too many generators are in use. If you are forced to use your generator please restrict your use of water as much as possible. Power outages are a way of life in our township and we have to learn to live with them.

The Grattan Township Sewer Property is owned and maintained by Grattan Township. This is private property and is not available for hunting, fishing or other means of trespass. This property is protected under the State of Michigan Trespassing laws and enforced by the Kent County Sheriff's Department. Violations may result in fines or imprisonment.
